Vision

To become the most trusted resource within the 1st Jurisdiction for youth training & development, enhancing the effectiveness of the local church’s youth department.

Mission

To advance the Kingdom of God by developing partnerships with the local youth leaders and their ministry.
  1. To offer spiritual development individual growth, impacting and fostering change within the local ministry and community
  2. To provide world-class training & resources, empowering the local youth leader and assisting in fulfilling the growth plan for the local ministry
  3. To offer social outlets for youth development in education, career planning and extra-curricular activities; creating well-rounded youth and opportunities for local ministries to enhance their youth programs
  4. To create a robust network of youth and youth leaders as a support and advisory system, bridging the gaps between desire and fulfillment, through networking sessions, team-building, collaboration and social media.

2016 Core Initiatives

  1. Processes & Procedures Develop sound administrative and budgetary processes, becoming more proactive and deliberate in our planning, financial support and implementation of programs
  2. Local Ministry Partnership Program Create a partnership with the local ministries, utilizing the regional system to implement National & Jurisdictional programs at the local level
  3. Online Presence Develop an Online Resource & Training Center, providing resources to regional, district and local youth ministries
  4. Gender-Specific Programs/Curriculum Implementing programs that will be male and female-centric, targeting gender-specific issues and development

President Ryan David Sims

President Ryan David Sims is a visionary leader, thought-provoking preacher and entrepreneur, guiding a new generation into comprehending the voice of God. He faithfully serves as the Youth & Young Adult Pastor of a growing inner-city congregation, The Dwelling Place Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor and Co-Pastor Reginald and Althea Sims. He is the President of the State Youth Department of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern California, under the leadership of Bishop Joe L. Ealy, mentoring, training and developing youth leaders from 200+ churches.
During his ministry he has personally experienced a great deliverance and transformation from addictions. With such a transparent message, God has used His voice as a tool to deliver people struggling with oppressive vices, giving them freedom.
As an entrepreneur he has founded a non-profit organization that offers transitional programs for homeless and low-income families throughout Southern California, Pure Inc. Additionally he founded an IT consulting firm, originally based in Los Angeles, CA, Framework Business Technology, providing information technology services to small and medium sized businesses. Currently he is the Director of IT Staffing at Robert Half International, with a 16 year career in Information Technology Management.
Elder Ryan is married to the lovely and musically gifted Tenecia Renee Sims, who shares in ministry with him. He is the father of four beautiful children, Taylor, Ryan II, Riley and Mason. They reside in Chino Hills, CA but seek to do “Kingdom Work” all over the world.
